Melinda Elena is a powerful, and versatile pop, R&B international singer and international songwriter. Born and raised in South Florida, she has been active in the local music scene since her young teens, as the lead vocalist of multiple bands of several different genres. Melinda Elena, now spearheading her own named band, is performing throughout the state and seeking to tour Internationally. Melinda has had the honor of performing at the Cruzan Amphitheater with Toby Keith in front of 25,000 attendees. She has performed with Quiet Riot, Smashmouth, Matt Stell & David Nail.Stronger Than Me was created to keep Amy Winehouse's music alive and relevant. Melinda Elena recorded her latest original songs in Reading, England with Amy Winehouse's original producer & guitarist who worked with Amy during her album entitled Frank. After bouncing between the US and UK, they now have a friendship that was formed around the love of jazz music, composition, and all things Amy. Melinda's originals can be found on all streaming platforms including Spotify.We will be performing Amy Winehouse's songs that she performed throughout her career. Melinda, working with individuals who were once close to Amy, makes it a mission to bring the spirit of Amy to the audience and showcases the incredible musical contributions she made. Our band will take you through her earlier music to her culmination and greatest songs. We aim to bring Amy's love of Jazz, R&B to all our performances. Amy will live on in her music and we will keep it alive.
