SUMMARY:Crazy Fingers
DESCRIPTION:South Florida’s Premier Grateful Dead Tribute Band – Crazy Fingers returns to Crazy Uncle Mike’s!\nCrazy Fingers performed their first offical show at a private party at Ultimate Farms in Delray Beach FL on Halloween\, 10/31/90. A splendid time was had by all. The original lineup was Bubba Newton on bass\,Pete Lavezzoli on drums\, Mike Greene on rhythm guitar\, and Al Zilinsky on lead guitar. In 1993\, Corey Dwyer and Rich Friedman joined the band\, with Corey on keyboards and guitar\, and Rich on guitar. Both Rich and Corey also sang\, joining Pete to give Crazy Fingers a three-part vocal sound. Within a year of Rich and Corey’s arrival\, the band began touring the state of Florida\, opening for national acts\, and writing original music which has been recorded on two CDs to date. By the mid 90’s\, keyboardist Josh Foster began joining the band for special events and statewide shows\, eventually relocating from Tampa to become a full member in 1998. Throughout these years the band went through a series of brief changes in the lineup and settled it’s longest lineup of Bubba\, Pete\, Corey\, Rich\, and Josh. Kevin Jordan (27) complements him perfectly with his guitar\, ukulele\, and melodica wizardry\, adding layers of sonic creativity and soulful harmonies.\nTheir journey began on the Florida bar circuit as teenagers\, where their talent caught the attention of legendary band CHICAGO\, leading to two regional tours and a decision to chase their musical dreams full-time.\nThe Ries Brothers’ captivating live performances have earned them a loyal following across various musical genres. They’ve graced major stages\, sharing the spotlight with renowned artists like G Love & Special Sauce\, Stick Figure\, Pepper\, Galactic\, Stephen Marley\, 311\, and Iration. They’ve also rocked major festivals like Okeechobee Music Fest\, Sunfest\, Innings Festival\, Cali Roots\, Gasparilla\, and Summer Camp.\nThe pandemic couldn’t stop their creativity. This track was part of their second full-length album\, “Paint Your Emotion\,” which leaned towards alternative rock and was produced by John Agnello (Screaming Trees\, Dinosaur Jr.).\nTheir self-titled EP produced by Gary Clark Jr.’s original drummer and engineer was released in 2022. This EP featured a collaboration with G Love & Cas Haley and hit #1 on Spotify’s “Nu Blues” playlist. 2023 saw the release of their dancey blues rock track “Your Friday Night\,” and “Strange Times”\nThey’ve supported David Shaw of The Revivalists on two tours and even joined him on stage every night.
