DESCRIPTION:The Livesays are an accomplished five-piece rock band fronted by the band’s namesake critically acclaimed singer/songwriter/guitarist Billy Livesay\, who spent 12 years performing\, recording and touring with E-Streeter Clarence Clemons’ band “Temple of Soul.” During his 12-year tenure with the beloved “Big Man\,” Billy recorded and released “Live in Asbury Park” Volumes I & II at The Stone Pony\, the second album which features Springsteen. Billy has shared the stage with so many industry giants\, his resume reads like a “Who’s Who of Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famers.”\nThe Livesays’ lineup includes Jorge Laplume on bass\, Victor “Cuqui” Berrios on Hammond B-3 organ\, Tim Murphy on piano and Steve Rheingold on drums\, all of whom have impressive resumes of their own. Cuqui\, who grew up in New York City\, offers a touch of the Big Apple to the band with his Hammond B3 and impassioned vocals. Tim brings his ear for harmony and his unique Elton John style piano. Jorge hails from Havana\, Cuba; with his Latin roots coupled with a steady diet of the rock groups The Who and Free\, he delivers a bass sound that is both funky and thunderous. DESCRIPTION:Alex Shillo is a multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter.\nOne of Alex’s many influences is The Boss. While Alex is currently in the Studio working on his solo/original music (Which you’re all gonna love) he will be playing some Northeast dates with his band Badlands. He’s not an impersonator\, he’s a talented musician that loves playing Bruce’s great music\, and will also be showcasing 1 or 2 of his own original songs. \nIn addition\, Alex’s dad Carl Shillo is the founder/leader of the national act Silverado. In the late 70’s and early 80’s Silverado was signed to CBS records\, had songs on the Billboard charts\, toured the world with Steppenwolf and a bunch others. Recently Silverado (With Alex on Rhythm Guitar and support Vocals) toured up and down the East Coast opening for major acts like Big & Rich\, Jerrod Niemann\, and many others with Silverado. \nIn Badlands Alex is backed by some of the areas top-notch musicians from Connecticut\, Massachusetts\, and Rhode Island who have performed with artists such as Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band\, Aretha Franklin\, The Four Tops\, The Temptations\, Johnny Mathis\, Gloria Gaynor\, and John Cafferty to name a few.
