DESCRIPTION:South Florida’s Premier Grateful Dead Tribute Band – Crazy Fingers returns to Crazy Uncle Mike’s!\nCrazy Fingers performed their first offical show at a private party at Ultimate Farms in Delray Beach FL on Halloween\, 10/31/90. A splendid time was had by all. The original lineup was Bubba Newton on bass\,Pete Lavezzoli on drums\, Mike Greene on rhythm guitar\, and Al Zilinsky on lead guitar. In 1993\, Corey Dwyer and Rich Friedman joined the band\, with Corey on keyboards and guitar\, and Rich on guitar. Both Rich and Corey also sang\, joining Pete to give Crazy Fingers a three-part vocal sound. Within a year of Rich and Corey’s arrival\, the band began touring the state of Florida\, opening for national acts\, and writing original music which has been recorded on two CDs to date. By the mid 90’s\, keyboardist Josh Foster began joining the band for special events and statewide shows\, eventually relocating from Tampa to become a full member in 1998. Throughout these years the band went through a series of brief changes in the lineup and settled it’s longest lineup of Bubba\, Pete\, Corey\, Rich\, and Josh. SUMMARY:Incahoots
DESCRIPTION:Incahoots [in cahoots] is a cover band in Boca Raton\, Florida delivering upbeat danceable songs fusing the roots side of rock with the rock side of country\, the island vibes of reggae with the feel-good vibes of blues\, soul\, and bluegrass. We seek the less anticipated deep cuts over the popular hits most cover bands play\, because we have more freedom of interpretation. We incorporate the sounds of the 70s\, 80s\, and 90s with their contemporary counterparts\, sometimes even in creative medleys or mash-ups. Incahoots was started as a drum-bass-guitar trio in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2016\, with the addition of a dedicated female vocalist a few years later. Three of the four original members (drums\, bass\, and vocalist) collectively migrated to Boca Raton\, Florida in 2021. The original fourth member (guitar) is a long-distance bonus\, though we hope he’ll make the migration at some point in the future. From there\, we’ve completed the five-piece rhythm & blues revue lineup with local South Florida talent. We are particularly strong in the vocal department\, and like to spice up the vocal harmonies on most of our songs. We are long-time friends\, each with a lifetime of musical/gigging background of their own\, and with a few gigs under our belt as Incahoots. DESCRIPTION:Rock & blues guitar legend Gary Hoey releases his first album in 6 years. “Avalanche” on Wazoo Music Group (Hoey’s own label) features special guest Lita Ford on vocals on “You Know I Would” and Gary’s son\, Ian Hoey\, on “Dear Mama” which is a tribute to Gary’s mother and on “Summer’s Here”. Gary says\, “Avalanche is a return to my rock roots. It feels great to turn up the volume and have some fun. This album was a therapeutic album for me. I named the album “Avalanche” because sometimes life feels like one thing hits you after another.\nHoey called on his old friends to help him record\, Matt Scurfiled (drums)\, AJ Pappas (bass)\, Ian Hoey (guitar)\, his niece Tayla Lemieux (background vocals). Hoey can’t wait to hit the road on his Avalanche Tour. “Playing live is the best feeling\, I love to travel and see the fans after the show. And having my son Ian playing guitar by my side is a dream come true. We will be playing the new and the old classics “Hocus Pocus”\, Low Rider”and more.\nHoey’s first break came in 1987 when Ozzy Osbourne showed up in Boston looking for a guitarist. Osborne liked Hoey’s tape enough to fly him to LA for an audition. Ozzy suggested that Gary move to LA. He took Ozzy’s advice and with $17\,000 he saved from teaching Hoey loaded the U-Haul and drove across country to LA. In 1992 Hoey released “Heavy Bones” on Waner Bros. A short lived band. In 1993 Hoey released “Animal Instinct” which included a cover of the Focus hit\, “Hocus Pocus”.
